The commemoration of the 25 years of the Clio was marked in Europe by the launch of the line GT Line of the model. According to the brand, although the engines are the same, the Clio has an essentially sporty aesthetic, which extends from the exterior to the interior and culminating in the extras included as standard when compared to the basic version. With a young spirit that intends to represent the biggest part of the sales of the Clio, as it already happens with the Mégane, the GT Line is a sports line available to all in Europe. Although the dedicated track look does not reach the powertrains, its image represents the genesis of the model. Inspired by the exclusive Clio RS, it features front and rear bumpers similar to those found in the model, as well as a prominent rear spoiler, 16-inch alloy GT wheels (17 as an option), silver side-view mirrors, chrome exhaust and daytime running lights in a specific format. On the bodywork, the highlight still goes to the blue tone Malte, exclusive of this version.

Inside, the dynamic character extends to the cabin marked by sports seats with the GT Line emblem, as well as the metal sill, where the lettering ‘Renault Sport’ appears. The sporty feeling continues to the leather steering wheel and the aluminum pedals, ending in the well structured central panel and simple for all users. This panel shows the Media Nav system, which is included as standard, which is materialized in a touch screen of 7.0 inches, with navigation, radio with Bluetooth and USB input. Under the hood, the model does not bring news. For now, the Clio GT Line will be available with two engines with common powers and performances. Both the diesel block and the gasoline produce a power of 90 hp. The model with the Energy 1.5 dCi 90 engine, features start & stop technology, announcing an average consumption of 31.25 km / l. Coupled to a five-speed manual transmission, the engine will receive an EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission in the future. This engine features a fast response and a respectable acceleration power taking into account its 90 horsepower in a relaxed, easy-to-drive car with a precise steering.

On the other hand, the Energy TCe 90 version has the already known gasoline engine of three cylinders turbo of 0.9 liters. With the same 90 hp and 135 Nm of torque at 2,500 rpm, it records a consumption of 21.3 km / l and CO2 emissions of 105 g / km. In the next semester, the 1.5 dCi 110 hp block will be associated with a six-speed transmission. One of the great advantages of this line is the standard equipment. With a price difference of about 4,000 euros compared to the basic version of the car, the GT Line features automatic air conditioning, Renault hands-free card, interior decoration GT Line, 16-inch alloy wheels in ‘dark metal’ , GT front and rear bumpers, Eco mode and rain and light sensors. The rear parking camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint, spare tire, rear parking aid system and R-Link Evolution system are some of the extras available on jeep grand cherokee car covers.

The Renault Clio has always been one of the most important models of the French brand in the world. With the fourth generation they have achieved a great commercial success thanks to a body with an attractive design that can be customized with many decorative elements. The line that has just begun its commercialization in Chile consists of two unique versions. The most accessible is equipped with the 1.2i 16V engine with 75 hp coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. It is marketed with the Expression finish level, well complete in both comfort and safety elements. Today it is 50 years since the world lost Le Corbusier, a well-known Swiss architect who was one of the great figures of architecture in the 20th century. Renault wanted to pay tribute to this illustrious character and to his work, presenting the Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept. The prototype is inspired by the French culture of the 1930s, regarded as the golden age of the automobile. Renault made it clear that the vehicle will not reach production, as it is only a design exercise. It would be the automobile of the 21st century according to the principles and modernist theories of the architect. The ideas they wanted to convey with the Coupe Corbusier Concept are “simplicity, a visually pleasing structure, geometric elegance and the domain of light.”

The result is a vehicle with a well-cut coupe body, with a large hood that occupies much of the full length of the prototype. It follows an Art Deco style with an oval and chrome grille, flanked by elongated headlights with LED technology. The interior has a capacity of four passengers and is in a retracted position. As the space in the trunk was removed, some spaces were set aside on the side of the wheels to store objects. The back shows elongated LED flashlights that come together in the center. The entire ceiling is glass, increasing the brightness and the suicidal doors open upwards. The engine was not given details for now. The Renault Coupe Corbusier Concept will be exhibited from today until March 20, 2016 at Villa Savoye, one of Le Corbusier’s most modernist creations. It will be in the exhibition “Cars for life: the automobile and modernism in the 20th and 21st centuries” which was organized by the Center des Monuments Nationaux.

After showing all its potential and robustness in the last three editions of the Dakar Rally, the Renault Duster wins a limited series inspired by what is the most famous and one of the most challenging rally in the world. The Dakar Duster series stands out for its unique look, which further enhances its already renowned robustness. On the sides, a sticker on the bottom of the doors with the inscription ‘Dakar Spirit’ characterizes the series and adds to the look an adventurous touch. Just below the mirrors is the famous Dakar emblem, plus a demonstration that the Duster is a true off-road. The new 16-inch wheels in black diamond are another exclusivity of the limited series. The 215/65 R16 tires are wider and provide greater off-road capability.

When opening the door, you will find the cozy interior of always, but with some customizations. The headrests received emblems of the Dakar series as well as the steering wheel. The tone of the finish of the doors has also changed. What’s more, the Duster is one of the best-selling SUVs in the country: excellent five-passenger interior space, high driving position, Black Piano panel finish, among others.

The version offers, as standard, the Media Nav Evolution system with access to social media like Facebook and Twiter through the Aha application, via smarthpone. The system also allows access to traffic information in real time, with updates through TMC (Traffic Message Channel) technology. For iPhone users, it is also possible to use SIRI application features, which capture the voice command of the driver, allow you to search for songs and people from the contact list without taking your hand off the wheel.

The Dakar Duster leaves the factory complete, with items such as air conditioning, power steering, autopilot, parking sensor, trip computer and fog lights. In the limited series, the rear camera and the speed limiter are no longer optional and are offered as standard. The Renault Duster Dakar is offered from R $ 71,480 in the version 1.6 16V (115 hp) with manual transmission of five speeds and arrives at R $ 83.980 in version 2.0 16V 4×4 (148 hp), with multilink rear suspension and manual transmission of six speeds. Duster engines are featured in the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), developed by Inmetro, with a “A” rating in fuel consumption in all versions.

Designed by Renault Design Latin America (RDAL), one of the five design centers of the brand in the world, located in São Paulo, the model is more a style proposal, as has happened in the last three editions of the International Motor Show of São Paulo . With the Duster Oroch show car, the brand displays an innovative product created for leisure, with plenty of room for five people and the robustness of an SUV. The show car is presented in an exclusive satin white color with a personalized touch of orange, and is characterized by an adventurous look and is ideal for extreme sports such as kitesurfing. The front enhances the brand identity and develops aspects previously explored with the D-Cross Concept, a Duster reissue at the São Paulo Show in 2012. Both front and rear, the large mud flaps give strength and strength to the vehicle . The roof racks are seamlessly integrated into the vehicle’s design and protect the panoramic glass roof, which provides great brightness. The device provides ideal protection for carrying sports equipment.

Two rear cameras equip the vehicle from the outside and film the leisure activities. Images can be viewed on a screen inside the car. With a viewing angle of 80º to 140º, the cameras give the sensation of being in perfect harmony with the external world. The great interior space, the highest ground height, the large wheels (255×60 R18) and the side guards are some of the elements that make the show Duster Oroch a pickup ready for any adventure. The dashboard is equipped with a multimedia screen that allows you to see in real time the images captured by the two cameras installed in the rear of the double cab on the outside of the vehicle. The cameras are controlled by a rotating command, which is next to the passenger, in the center console. The seats use the new “Cover Carving Technology” technology used in the new Logan and Sandero, which is an additional layer of foam that allows intensive use, better quality finish and unique design. The colors and materials are inspired by equipment used in the practice of water sports. Colorful details, like fluorescent orange, illuminate the environment in the dark carbon tonality. The look of some parts – the dashboard, door panels and seats – resembles the neoprene of surfing suits.
